Overview
This two-day program targets emergent legal, clinical and research topics relevant to advanced forensic practice. The 2008 program will highlight Treating and Managing Psychopathy: An Innovative Perspective, Jennifer Skeem, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology and Social Behavior, University of California, Irvine on January 31.
On February 1, the program will highlight Reflections Upon the Virginia Tech Tragedy, Roger Depue, Ph.D. , Member, Virginia Tech Review Panel, James Reinhard, M.D., Commissioner, Virginia DMHMRSAS, and Richard Bonnie, Chairman, Commission on Mental Health Law Reform; and in the afternoon, Prosecution of a Terrorist: The Case of Abu Ali, with Gregory Saathoff, M.D., Executive Director, Critical Incident Analysis Group, U.Va., expert consultant in the case, and Dave Laufman, J.D., attorney in the case.
