Program Description
This advanced seminar featured experts from law, psychology, and law enforcement, who will discuss recent law, research, and cases related to interrogations and confessions among juveniles. Presenters and their topics:
Lawrence Fitch, Esq, Univesity of Maryland, presents The Rights of Juveniles in Delinquency Cases: Understanding the Principles of Miranda Waiver and the Admissibility of Confessions in Juvenile Court
Dickon Reppucci, PhD, University of Virginia, presents Research on the Police Interrogation of Juveniles
Gregg McCrary (FBI, Retired), presents Controversial Juvenile Cases: Evidence, Testimony and Outcomes
